Do you Prefer Brownies or Blondies?

Did you ever think you could make brownies or blondies that were so delicious you had to restrain yourself from eating the whole pan? 

Did I mention they are healthy (guilt free)?

Healthy and Delicious!

This is worth every chickpea to try this recipe.

For Chickpea Brownies:

  • 1 can chickpeas

  • 1/8 cup plain applesauce (or 1/4 cups extra virgin organic coconut oil)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup

  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup unsweet cocoa powder

  • 1/2 tsp. gluten free baking powder

  • pinch of himalyan salt

  • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Oven temp: 350 degrees F

9 X 9 inch baking pan, lined with parchment paper and lightly sprayed.

1. Using a blender (I have a vitamix) or food processor, toss in the chickpeas, applesauce, eggs, syrup, vanilla, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Cover and blend until smooth and creamy.​


2. Add chocolate chips and mix in with spoon. 


3. Spread into the pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.

4. Cut in squares and ENJOY!
